When users create an account, we collect:

Password (securely encrypted and hashed)
Official Name
Profession (Student or Teacher)

To provide quiz and evaluation features, we collect:

Scores and awarded marks

This data is used strictly for academic functionality, including scoring and maintaining progress records.

Contacts
Camera data
Microphone recordings

Tracking data

We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

We do not use personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Data Storage & Security

User data is stored securely in a MongoDB database hosted on Render cloud infrastructure. We implement industry-standard security measures including:

Secure password hashing
HTTPS encrypted communication
Restricted database access

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share personal user data with third parties. No data is shared with advertisers, analytics providers, or external APIs.

7. Data Retention

Data is retained only as long as the account remains active. When a user deletes their account, all associated personal and quiz data is permanently removed within a reasonable timeframe.

8. Account Deletion

            Users can permanently delete their account directly within the application:
            
Profile Icon → Delete Account

Upon confirmation, the account and all associated data are permanently removed. This action cannot be reversed.

9. Children's Privacy

EduPulse is intended for users aged 13 years and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Permanently delete account
Stop using the application at any time
